Introducing Terra Stancia. Emerging very colorfully and hopeful into a very complex colorful world. When looking deeply into those violet eyes a very definitive named emerged. Terra Stancia it would be! I always learn something when I embark upon a new painting journey. When animals and ideas arrive into my consciousness through my dream worlds and waking life. I then do some research regarding these elements. When the eyes for this painting called out loudly for purple I began looking for images of violet eyes. I then discovered that violet eyes are a very real but rare phenomenon. Elizabeth Taylor had very striking violet eyes. Also for those of you who didn’t already know hippos have a four chamber heart, octopuses have three hearts, and earthworms have five.
