Welcoming Hana into this new world! Each time I have completed a piece I look deep into their eyes and ask… “what is your name?” Usually I receive a few options, but sometimes it’s very clear. When the name Hana arrived I looked up the meaning and apparently it means many beautiful things and is represented across many different cultures. In Hebrew – grace…Japanese – flower… Hawaiian – craft… Albanian – the moon… Arabic – bliss or happiness… Persian – flower again… Māori – To shine, glow, give out love or radiance…Kurdish – hope. Although she is covered in words perhaps this is her simple message to us. Some may never accept you or see your beauty, but there are so many others who will see all of the beautiful things that you are, what you represent and how you make them feel. Hope!
