I’m thrilled to say that these ladies are finally complete after many months of arriving. So much has taken place over these many months including an amazing CAIR artists residency program that I was so honored to be nominated for and selected to participate for ten months at New Bedford Art Museum which I will collect my thoughts and write about soon. However these two girls started long before my residency and I want to focus on completing this circle and honoring their images first. These pieces are deep representations of my life, humanity, and all of the women who have come before me. So to honor them is to honor images of all women and our shared humanity. ~Peace, jummyjeenz
