After a trying year for me and my artwork I have had time to reflect on this piece quite a bit. I’m going to call it a finished piece now. Looking into the eyes of this bee to me feels almost human-like. Those eyes have so much to say. There are many layers to this piece and they came at unexpected times as this creation evolved. I hope that this canvas draws you in as it did for me even before the very first brush stroke.
